Our night started with a Simi Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2003
It was a very mild wine for a Sunday night with hints of cherry, blackberry, and plum. Very light on the tongue with a pleasant smoothness.

Sapori salad with granny apples, raw walnuts and a lemon vinegrette.

The Sapori salad teases the pallete before the main corse. Although it was a bit heavy on the sauce, especially for a Sunday night. The apple slices seemed a bit bland and the salad could have been a bit larger as well. But all of this could easily be attributed to it being the end of the weekend.

Main Dishes
Sapori Cannaloni
What a nice treat for a Sunday night. The cannaloni wasi packed with spinach and ricotta in a rich tomato sauce. Definitely recommended for those looking for a tasty alternative to manicotti.

Meat Lasagne
One always has to try the meat lasagne at an Italian restaurant to get a flavor for the kitchen. Different restaurants will prepare the lasagne from scratch, while others will just put together some Sysco ingredients. The lasagne was not he freshest and it could have been baked a little longer to help cook everything together. It was an ok tasting lasagne. But it really was a bit mushy from not having the extra baking time.

Service
The service was wonderful for a Sunday night. Our waiter did most of the serving and was very attentive. Definitely a 20% tip
